Luke really got into the tree this year! He was "helping" put ornaments on the tree....and they all made it onto ONE branch!

Thanksgiving Fun!

The boys enjoyed a great Thanksgiving this year! They both even went without naps and didn't melt down until the very, very end! A Thanksgiving Miracle I say!!

Halloween!!

Great fun today w/ the boys!! Played in the park, carved pumpkins, went to a party and had our FIRST trick or treating experience (I cried!)

One evening when Marco was home alone with the boys, he went to put Beck down for bed and came back to be surprised by what Luke had built! He has always had a curiosity about how things work so we knew he thought this way....but this is his first display! Truly it is so tall (and Luke is so short) I asked Marco if he had checked the house to make sure no one else was helping Luke out!!

Great-grandparents!

Luke and Beckett got to meet their great-grandparents in September! We took a trip to San Antonio to introduce the boys to Mother and Papa Joe and they were just thrilled to see Luke and mini Marco (aka Beckett)....

Kelly turns 40!

It's hard to say who enjoyed my sister Kelly's surprise party the most: Kelly, Luke or Kelly's daughter Melissa!!

Beckett's First B-Day!

Hi Jessie!

This is Luke saying "Hi" to Jessie, a friend of the family who baby sat for him the past two summers! I hope she gets a kick out of it!!

Couldn't leave Luke out....

Luke loves to wear his sunglasses (upside down!) and he has a new Diego whistle...and he is OBSESSED with it. Thankfully he can't blow it very loudly which makes it bearable!!

What a difference a year makes!

Are they REALLY the same size??

When you look at them sitting down, they really do look like they are the same size, but standing up you can see Luke is a little taller.......for now at least!

Today is the first day school is occuring w/out me there.....a little sad but also exciting to be a part-time stay-at-home mom! Thought I would catch everyone up with some pics. Luke w/ his sombrero, Beck on all fours crawling (instead of his normal army crawl), Luke's shiner on his eye and Beck's abnormally advanced pencil grip!

A little mishap w/ Beck.....

Beck was playing w/ an Easter basket Luke had pulled out of the closet.....He was having a great time until he got his head stuck! Sadly, when Marco and I saw him stuck in it we couldn't stop laughing and got the camera before we saved our little guy!

Check out Luke's new toy...he loves it! He already knows how to "pop a wheelie" ! Marco swears he didn't teach him that!

Say Hello to Mr. Booty!

We had just come in from playing in the "pool" (our blow up kiddie pool).....and I had undressed everyone to put them in dry clothes. Beck took off w/ his favorite walking toy and I couldn't resist snapping this picture! He will HATE me for this when he gets older but I promise to keep it in the family (as I post it on the Internet!)......BTW, if you want the story behind the title you will have to chat w/ Zac Ladd!!

Night, Night...

Oh if going to bed was REALLY this easy w/ Luke! He loves to play "night, night" in our bed. He is actually holding a finger to his lips and saying "shhh" to me. What really happens is a lot of yelling and screaming "I don't wanna" as he goes to bed (Marco and I are not sure where he learned that phrase, but he sure loves to use it!)

4th of July

Each year we go to Lake Tawakoni to celebrate the 4th at a family friends lake house.....Here are the pics from last night! It was such fun although the boys were EXHAUSTED! However, Beckett still managed to wake up at 6:45 AM (after going to bed around 11:30pm) but Luke slept until 10:30 am for the first time in his entire life!! You can see his poor tired eyes....
