Starting last week Beck rolled over from his tummy to his back! However, he doesn't want this to be captured on film! I saw him do it twice at the house and he did it twice at the nursery at Shelton. Yesterday he rolled over about 5 times in a row and by the time I got back with the camera he refused to do it anymore! Today (Wed) Marco was home with us for an ice day (gotta love Texans afraid of cold and ice) and Marco finally got to witness it as well....but alas, when I got the camera out AGAIN this is all I could capture.

Changing Diapers
Luke has figured out that Beck's diapers have pictures on them too (every time we get out one of Luke's he yells "Elmo!" because Elmo is featured on them). Beck's have Blue's Clues on them and Luke was fascinated with that the other day. I didn't record what happened next but let's just say I had to discuss with Luke why we keep the baby's diaper ON at all times!

TTU & Aggie Fans (and anyone else who loves Big 12 Football)
So here is a link from YouTube to a hysterical video about Tech and A&M....With Marco being an Aggie and me a Red Raider; we literally were crying as we watched this!! Check it out when you get a chance:

Gangsta Beck!

Here is Beckett looking like a gang member in Luke's Batman hat!! Isn't he precious?? I don't know if you could tell in the earlier pictures, but apparently Beck had a decent case of baby eczema. We thought it was flare ups of baby acne until he got little round circles on his legs. Thinking it was some horrible flesh disease (have you ever read about valley fever!?!?) I rushed him to a dermatologist! Thankfully it was just eczema and using the medicines over the long MLK weekend really cleared his skin up!
And Luke loves his chair!

By far Luke's favorite Christmas gift was the chair Santa brought him! We call this his "thinking chair" (for all you Blue's Clues parents:)). Take a look at the little conservative we are raising; he is reading the Wall Street Journal....and a glimpse of what his teenage face will be (third picture)!
Beck loves cereal...

Well, kind of! We started on cereal with Beck at the end of December. Most of the time it makes it into his mouth but keeping it there is the problem sometimes! However, I have no doubt that he will come to enjoy food as much as his family does:)
Marco's Mini Me

If you haven't noticed how much Beck looks like Marco...here is a self-portrait Marco made of the two of them!
Actual Christmas!

Here are the pictures from the actual big day! Luke had his first Christmas where he could really play and get into it! Beck was great just sitting (or laying) and watching....thanksfully because Luke opened all of his presents AND Beck's presents!! I tried to include good pictures but there are so many to choose from..Here are the highlights: 1. Elmo live! 2. Cars chair 3. Table and Chair Set 4. Basketball goal and 5. Tractor from Paw Paw
Christmas Cookie Decorating!

Some girlfriends and I got together w/ our kids this year to decorate cookies! Renee made wonderful sugar cookie dough that the kids cut cookies from and then decorated with frosting....there was probably a lot more eating than decorating going on but fun was had by all!!
Luke's first hiding place...

One day during Christmas break Luke was playing near the laundry room. When I went to check and see what he was doing, I saw he had configured a "fort" by hiding between the drayer and the wall and using his extremely large coloring book to fence himself in! It was so cute I had to take pictures!
Presents!

My sister, Shannon, and her husband, Brad, traveled to Houston this year to spend the actual holiday with his family. So we celebrated a little early with them...Here is Brad w/ Beckett and Shannon showing Luke what to do with bows! Look how excited he is....Marco is so proud:)
20 months and 4 months!

Wow~time does fly! I can't believe we are already at 4 months with Beckett!! I actually looked at the boys today (January 20) and asked them to please stop growing!! Here are their pictures from the end of December/beginning of January....
Beckett's Baptism

We had Beckett baptized at St. Thomas on December 20, 2008! It was a wonderful event celebrated by my childhood priest, Fr. Tom Cloherty (now at All Saints). Marco's younger brother, Paul, is Beckett's godfather. He was home for the holidays from Japan so we were fortunate enough to have everything work out to have the Baptism that weekend (it was almost as hard to schedule as a wedding would be)! Although it was hectic during the holiday season, we were so happy to have our family celebrate it with us!
Beck's First REAL winter morning

Here is the first time we had Beckett all bundled up for his first REAL winter morning going to school! We have been blessed with very mild temps, but sometimes God has to remind us it is winter!
Deck the Halls!

Marco and I took the boys to Deck the Halls at the Meyerson Symphony Center during the holiday season. Lisa Loeb joins the Booker T. Washington band singing great Christmas songs as well as some of her children's music. It was a great show and a wonderful way to anticipate the holidays! Look at our boys dressed in their Christmas wear...and Luke giving the baby his first kiss!
Christmas Cards

Well, in my grandiose thoughts, I had planned on taking cute pictures of my 3 month old and 19 month old for our Christmas card! If you remember our card (as I post this on January 20th) you will know there were not Christmas pictures on there! I did take them but our camera died right at that time so I wasn't able to download the pics in time to get a card made...so I thought I would post them! The last picture is the one I planned on using for the card. For the record, this was SO much harder than I imagined!!
