A little mishap w/ Beck.....

Beck was playing w/ an Easter basket Luke had pulled out of the closet.....He was having a great time until he got his head stuck! Sadly, when Marco and I saw him stuck in it we couldn't stop laughing and got the camera before we saved our little guy!

Check out Luke's new toy...he loves it! He already knows how to "pop a wheelie" ! Marco swears he didn't teach him that!

Say Hello to Mr. Booty!

We had just come in from playing in the "pool" (our blow up kiddie pool).....and I had undressed everyone to put them in dry clothes. Beck took off w/ his favorite walking toy and I couldn't resist snapping this picture! He will HATE me for this when he gets older but I promise to keep it in the family (as I post it on the Internet!)......BTW, if you want the story behind the title you will have to chat w/ Zac Ladd!!

Night, Night...

Oh if going to bed was REALLY this easy w/ Luke! He loves to play "night, night" in our bed. He is actually holding a finger to his lips and saying "shhh" to me. What really happens is a lot of yelling and screaming "I don't wanna" as he goes to bed (Marco and I are not sure where he learned that phrase, but he sure loves to use it!)

4th of July

Each year we go to Lake Tawakoni to celebrate the 4th at a family friends lake house.....Here are the pics from last night! It was such fun although the boys were EXHAUSTED! However, Beckett still managed to wake up at 6:45 AM (after going to bed around 11:30pm) but Luke slept until 10:30 am for the first time in his entire life!! You can see his poor tired eyes....

Walking soon??

If anyone knows our tale of Luke walking, you will understand the irony! Luke didn't walk until he was about 15 1/2 months old....he was quite happy crawling around and pulling up on things.

Beck on the other hand will have NOTHING to do with crawling! He army crawls everyone and can pull up from the flat position on the floor...and as you can see he can walk himself around with a toy....Shouldn't he be able to CRAWL as well!?! You would think I wouldn't care except he sits there and SCREAMS (I call him a tetradactyl) until you give him your hands or a toy to walk around with! And then look at how happy he is.....

Luke the great!

It is hard to see, but that is a cape wrapped around Luke...he took it off his giant frog from Phoebe! When he saw I had the camera, he ripped his pacifier out and yelled "cheese"....maybe both boys got my Planoette side? We did love to have our pictures taken!

Eventually they will share a room....

Well, we eventually wanted the boys to share a room....probably not a crib! But Luke loves to get into the crib with Beck and play with him...ahh, if he had only wanted to do that when Beck was a newborn, we could have gotten more sleep!

Winnie the Pooh...

Luke and Beckett were lucky enough to spend time with one of their favorite sitters, Jessie, home from college. She gave them this stuffied Pooh bear that Luke loves and hugs! And it is as big as them (although Beck is giving it a run for its money!)

Shaving Cream!

New School!

The boys are attending a Mother's Day Out program at a nearby church this summer...here are pics from their first day!

So many things about these pictures! What was really happening was Beck was trying to get to Luke's blocks and he was SITTING on them to protect them.
However, when I look at these pictures I can't believe how BLOND Luke looks....and I realized every time I point the camera at Beck he gives us the huge grin (see other pics)....Marco says he got that from his Planoette mommy!

Dallas Children's Zoo...

We love going to the Dallas Zoo and playing in the creek at the Lacerte Children's Zoo....it is a place to keep cool in the summer! And no matter how hot it is (even 103), Luke always loves being outside!

Dee Visits!

Damion visited this spring and got to meet the boys! This is Marco's best friend from A&M and was his best man at our wedding! He is a great guy and we are so, so excited he got to meet them!

Vaseline!

It is bound to happen with a two-year old! Vaseline in the hair (and on the face, in the clothes, on the floor!)....Luke took several, several baths that day!

Luke's 2nd B-Day....

Can you believe he is TWO?? Here are some of his favorite gifts....Diego "rescue unit", car w/ sombreo from PawPaw, desk that used to be Mommy's and the car before it was put together (he couldn't wait!)....

Spring!

Actual Easter Egg Hunt....

Here is Luke's first real Easter Egg hunt! It was a ton of fun to watch him scurry around for the eggs!!
